Oregon has no limits on political campaign contributions for state races. Although federal election law imposes some limits, federal political spending is running amok. Thanks to MSNBC.com here’s the tawdry story of huge spending by progressives and business interests in a Maryland House Democratic primary race. Excelon, the Big Nuke builder mentioned in the article is the same Big Nuke/Big Bucks outfit with radioactive leaks at its Illinois plant that has donated $227,000 to Barak Obama.
